Welcome to the GLG3D website ("Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Great Lakes Geospatial Services, LLC d/b/a GLG3D ("GLG3D," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using this Site, placing an order, requesting a quote, purchasing products or services, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you should not use this Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If purchasing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

GLG3D offers products including but not limited to:

  • GNSS Survey Equipment

  • Total Stations

  • Laser Scanners

  • SLAM Systems

  • Mobile Mapping Systems

  • UAV/Drone Solutions

  • Hydrographic Equipment

  • Machine Control Systems

  • Software

  • Accessories

  • Survey Supplies

  • Training

  • Consulting Services

  • Equipment Rentals

  • Calibration Services

  • Technical Support

Availability may change without notice.

4. Product Descriptions

We strive for accuracy. However, specifications, pricing, photographs, colors, software compatibility, and availability may change without notice. Manufacturer specifications supersede website descriptions.

5. Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing errors may occur. If an incorrect price is displayed, GLG3D reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the order

  • Correct the price

  • Offer Buyer the opportunity to proceed at the corrected price

6. Quotes

Written quotations remain valid only for the period stated on the quotation. If no expiration date is listed, quotations expire after thirty (30) calendar days.

7. Orders

Submission of an order does not constitute acceptance.

Orders become binding only after:

  • Payment approval

  • Credit approval (if applicable)

  • Inventory confirmation

  • Written acceptance by GLG3D

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

8. Payment

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit Card

  • ACH

  • Wire Transfer

  • Check

  • Purchase Order (approved customers)

  • Financing Partners

Payment terms may vary depending upon customer approval.

Late payments may incur:

  • Interest

  • Collection costs

  • Attorney fees where permitted by law

9. Taxes

Customer is responsible for:

  • Sales Tax

  • Use Tax

  • Import Duties

  • Customs Fees

  • Government Assessments

Unless a valid exemption certificate has been provided.

10. Shipping

·       Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise stated.

·       Risk of loss transfers upon delivery to the carrier.

·       Delivery dates are estimates only.

·       GLG3D is not responsible for carrier delays.

11. Returns

Standard Return Policy:

Returns are accepted within fourteen (14) calendar days from delivery.

Returned products must:

  • Be unused

  • Be in new condition

  • Include original packaging

  • Include all accessories

  • Include manuals

  • Include software

  • Include batteries

Customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping

  • Shipping insurance

  • Applicable taxes

An RMA number is required before any return.

Returns without authorization may be refused.

12. Restocking Fees

GLG3D may assess restocking fees up to fifteen percent (15%) if returned products are not in original condition.

13. Non-Returnable Products

The following are non-returnable:

  • Software

  • Software licenses

  • Subscription services

  • Calibration

  • Training

  • Consulting

  • Custom orders

  • Special orders

  • Products registered with manufacturers

Unless defective.

14. Manufacturer Warranty

Most products carry manufacturer warranties.

GLG3D assigns any transferable manufacturer warranty.

Warranty administration is subject to each manufacturer's policies.

15. No Additional Warranty

Except where expressly stated, GLG3D makes no additional warranties.

Including implied warranties of:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement 

16. Software Licensing

Software remains subject to the manufacturer's End User License Agreement (EULA).

Subscription software may require annual renewals.

17. Technical Support

Support availability varies by manufacturer.

Some support services require active maintenance agreements.

18. Equipment Rentals

Rental equipment is governed by separate Rental Agreements.

Rental terms supersede these Terms where applicable.

19. Purchase Agreements

Equipment purchases may also be governed by a signed Purchase Agreement.

If there is any conflict, the signed Purchase Agreement controls.

20. Intellectual Property

All content including:

  • Logos

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Graphics

  • Downloads

  • Product descriptions

  • Training materials

remain property of GLG3D or their respective owners.

No material may be copied without written permission.

21. User Accounts

Customers are responsible for:

  • Password security

  • Account confidentiality

  • All purchases made under their account

22. Prohibited Uses

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access

  • Interfere with website operation

  • Upload malicious software

  • Copy website content

  • Violate intellectual property rights

  • Use automated scraping tools

23. Export Compliance

Products may be subject to U.S. export regulations.

Customers agree to comply with all applicable export laws.

24. Limitation of Liability

GLG3D shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits

  • Project delays

  • Lost data

  • Downtime

  • Consequential damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Special damages

Maximum liability shall never exceed the purchase price of the affected product.

25. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GLG3D from claims arising from:

  • Product misuse

  • Improper operation

  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

  • Violation of applicable laws

26. Force Majeure

GLG3D is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters

  • Supply chain shortages

  • Government actions

  • Weather

  • Labor disputes

  • Transportation delays

  • Pandemics

27. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

Venue shall lie exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Livingston County, Michigan.

28. Changes to Terms

GLG3D may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
